Total Tranquility Therapy
About
I love journeying with people, helping them thrive, despite their circumstances. I like to help people dream, celebrate life and find meaning in whatever circumstance they find themselves. I have many years of clinical experience, not to mention life experience, which gives a rich perspective for clients.
I love working with all ages: adolescents, children and families as well as elderly individuals. Additionally, I love working with couples who are working to improve their relationships. Furthermore, I have worked with individuals with disabilities and enjoy helping anyone who can benefit from therapeutic support.
I have background in CBT, DBT, ACT and motivational interviewing. I have worked both in mental health and in the area of addiction. There's not much I haven't done clinically speaking. I look forward to meeting you!

How did you get started in this business?
I accepted a position at Grafton School in Virginia upon graduating from HS and worked there full time for many years while completing my undergraduate work and first graduate degree. This experience, working with children and adolescents, fueled my interest in the counseling profession. I also did a lot of extensive outdoor therapeutic work in the Shenandoah Mountains with my students/residents - many long hikes, many wonderful adventures - camping in the Virginia Beach area, etc.
