Cypress Counseling Center
About
I'm passionate about helping bring healing and change to peoples' lives. I create an emotionally safe environment where the individual feels heard and understood as we move together towards their goals. I specialize in trauma and bring a body awareness and psycho-ed approach to trauma. I work with children using a systemic approach in working with the child's caregivers. I look forward to working with parents and their child to create a positive therapeutic experience for all. Additionally, I have experience working with teens in crisis from physical & sexual abuse, as well as other teen issues.
I find it a privilege to work with clients who are willing to look deeper inside themselves to gain a new understanding of who they are. Each person brings a unique perspective into the therapeutic process; therefore, therapy is tailored for each client to help facilitate their journey and growth.
Michelle's areas of focus include children, teens, individuals and families for: Child Behavior difficulties, Anger management, Cutting, Anxiety in kids, Trauma, Marriage difficulties, Sexual and physical assault, and Abandonment issues.
