About
Jubilee is committed to working with people to find peace and joy through renewal, reconciliation and restoration. Teresa McRoberts, JD, MHA, MDiv works one-on-one with clients in transition-aging, moving, divorcing, changing jobs, grieving, moving on--to identify and frame how to navigate the waters of change. In this work, clients feel heard, gain perspective, and develop strategies and strengths to persevere and/or to let go.
since 2016, after practicing law and ministry in the local church, and fueled by my passion for creating and holding space for people, I have successfully
• counseled clients who have been fired--helping them to focus, regroup and move on to better opportunities
• worked with mothers after pregnancy loss and infant death
• coached engaged couples and newlyweds in effective communication and the ongoing work of marriage
• assisted people in their decisions about the future of their marriages, their jobs, their lives without loved ones, and their abilities and infirmities
•journeyed with people through seasons of grief, loss, anxiety and depression
• advocated on behalf of clients for benefits, justice, respect, health care and more
I enjoy being an agent of freedom and joy. When people feel trapped by circumstances, frozen by indecision, overwhelmed by options, or out of gas, I lend hope and grit and help them tap into their own gifts and resilience.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to connect with first time clients by phone, text or email to get a sense of their situation and the urgency. Then we meet face to face for about an hour. At the end of that time, we talk about any plans for follow up.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained attorney who practiced with a top tier law form for 7 years before managing 24 hour care for my father after his diagnosis with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and hearing my call to ordained ministry. I am trained in counseling and guiding people through crises and change.
How did you get started in this business?
In parish ministry, people gravitated to me for counsel and support. I started Jubilee Ministries to focus on being present for people in transition and using my education and training to come alongside clients and work with them for renewal and restoration.
