Christian Counseling Associates
About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working in the medical and criminal justice sytems.
I offer professional counseling from a Christian perspective as well as traditional counseling. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist working with adolescents and adults. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Adlerian Psychotherapy. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques into counseling. I exclusively offer evening appointments that do not interfere with work and school.
I help people work through issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, substance abuse, and sexual addiction.
In addition to counseling, I have spoken at regional and national conferences, developed online courses, and written articles.
I enjoy helping people move from a place where they are not feeling or functioning well to a place where they are happier and more effective in what they do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first start working with the person, I talk to them to get an understanding of what is going on in their life that brought them into counseling. I also get background information to help me understand their current situation within the context of their life.
The end of the first session usually involves setting goals for counseling.
