I have been preparing taxes for almost 25 years. I am an Enrolled Agent (EA). I am licensed by the IRS to represent clients before them and also before state taxing agencies. Enrolled Agents have a strict code of conduct to adhere to as well as get considerable eduction every year. I personally get between 60 and 80 hours of education every year.

I am a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. I have served on the Virginia Chapter board of directors for 11 years (so far) and I teach annually at the education conference they hold every year. I served as President of the chapter in 2007.

I use a secure portal to transfer files and information back and forth with our clients.

I have a wide and varied background with many different types of experiences. I am a beekeeper, certified welder, I love doing woodworking projects, home remodel, travel, fishing, camping.

I have worked not only as a small business owner, but also as a computer programmer, a manager for a stone yard and worked in the telecom industry.

I enjoy meeting new people and the challenge that taxes can bring.
