What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a detailed intake form to gather any past injuries/conditions, then focus on the current physical state of their body and then create the perfect apllication of massage to address their individual needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 12 yrs of my life in the competitive gymnastics world as both a gymnast and coach, later transiting my career into Massage Therapy. I graduate in 2013 from UCMT, am trained in over 30 modalities and am also enrolled to complete Health Coach training January of 2020.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $70 for 1 hr, $100 for 90 min and $130 for 2 hrs. I also offer package deals if you are looking to save and get consistent work on a regular bases. Cupping and Hot Stone massage are offered at an upgraded price of $30 per session.
How did you get started in this business?
I am a firm believer in finding a passion in life that fulfills you and also helps the community. I am a Utah native, with roots in both Davis county and SLC county. I thrive off educating my clientele how to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle in todays chaotic world. Slowing down, breathing, and being mindful are key to optimal wellness.
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it! 2 yrs old to 92, male/female, survivors of Near Death Experiences! I am well rounded in the fact that I can work with ANY BODY and truly promote wellness in thier lives.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Starting Health Coaching School! I am currently enrolled in the Institue of Integrative Nutrition. After being a LMT for 6 years I could feel that it was time to add some more skills to my tool set and truly aid in my clienteles growth!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are always continuing their education, which is not required in the state of Utah. Also, that they themselves practice what they preach, ie, receive bodywork, exercise, meditation and eat well!
