I have 30+ years experience working with Tax Agencies.
I passed the test to become Registered with IRS.
I take required hours each year to remain on the IRS Tax Practitioner List.
I specialize in self employment in offline and online sales agents, oil field, transportation, pipeline , security industry.

For Tax preparation , I charge per return based on forms needed or time involved.
I usually set a monthly fee for any bookkeeping or payroll service.
As far as notary work I charge a fee on each page notarized.
How did you get started in this business?
I began preparing taxes in 1974 after dealing with Farmers that needed help getting their tax returns. These were done by hand, and only started using computer tax software in 1999.
From 1974 until this year I have had 2 tax returns audited by IRS due to taxpayers forgot to give me info and paperwork on stock sales.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with Truck Drivers, Pipeliners & Equipment operators for union and non union jobs over many different states, Mary Kay , Advocare, Avon sellers, lawn maintenance and landscaping companies, people that create jewelry, horsehoe crafts and sell offline and online, police officers, welders, trucking companies, liquor stores, automotive repair shops, tire shops, LLC companies, INC companies, partnerships, sole proprietors, and individuals that receive 1099 misc income forms.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
1st event that got me was receiving a IRS bill for $485,000. It Took me 7 years, many IRS letters and forms mailed in and several meetings at IRS office but was able to get the bill amount down to $0.00.
I met with a referral that received letter that he owed $55,000 from last years tax return. I met with him, after going over his bookkeeping info and his tax return , I found that last tax preparer had omitted off a lot of expenses. When amendment was completed he only owed $32,000.00

Please ask questions about things you are concerned about.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you want problems solved correctly or quickly.
Is it worth it to get the burdon off your own shoulders and hire someone to take care of the paperwork for you.
