How did you get started in this business?
Originally my career choice was banking but I soon discovered I could prepare tax returns and understood tax law. I decided to get more education in tax law then decided to continue my accounting education and sit for the CPA exam. I found working with people who have tax problems to rewarding as well as challenging.

We have worked with all kinds of people and businesses from restaurant owners to security business owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently we worked with a young man who had not filed his tax return for the preceding ten years. Finding the information to complete the formsif some is was challenging but we were able to do so and the returns were filed and the young man breathed a sigh of relief knowing the IRS would not be knocking on his door.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
if you are looking to hire someone to assist you with an IRS problem, be sure they have the proper credentials to be able to complete the solution. I have seen accountants try to assist clients but needing to engage another CPA because credentials are needed for tax court and IRS representation.
