I opened my Marriage and Family Therapy practice in 2014. I currently see clients in both Austin and Lockhart. My clients include families, couples and individuals. I have practiced within the artist community of Austin which I find very enjoyable. My work has also lead me to working with inmates and homeless populations, which I will continue to do in the future, to some extent.
I specialize in anxiety/depression, substance abuse, grief and a multitude of other issues. I am eclectic in my approach to therapy--my work includes what appears to be the most appropriate to the client, this is a creative process. I begin with the Rogerian model and frequently work with Mindfulness. I have training in Gottman.
I am registered in the State of Texas as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session always includes filling out paperwork and then getting familiar with my clients. The basics of the process begin in getting some understanding of what brings a client (or clients) to therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Counseling.

My rates are $120 per session (55 minutes)
