Perez & Associates Tax Group, LLC is a proudly woman owned business that focuses on providing tax & bookkeeping services to small businesses and individuals with rental properties. What makes our company great is that we take the time to understand our clients business needs and effectively communicate our recommendations. We are available all year to assist our clients. Video conference, evening and weekend appointments are available for client convenience.
For some clients, numbers and financial information is confusing and stressful. I enjoy working with my clients to understand their financial information and make informed decisions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new clients are given a complimentary initial consultation via conference call. We discuss any questions or comments the client may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Master's in Accounting and have been assisting small businesses with their tax filings and bookkeeping needs for over 20 years. Annually, I attend professional workshops to ensure I am up to date with all tax law changes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our firm is sensitive to the budgets of small businesses and individuals. Most new clients come to us after shopping around and are happy with our fee structure. There is a 10% discount for our military and peace officers.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always enjoyed working with numbers. While in college, I took my first Accounting class and never looked back!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients are small business owners including: contractors, freelance service providers, lawyers and consultants.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I assisted a client with filing 5 years of tax returns. After a divorce and life changes, time had gone by and filing taxes was not on the priority list. I was able to walk the client through all of the required documentation and we got the job done.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions and make sure the person you are working with has experience and training.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you have copies of your bank statements and credit card statements? What is your expectation for how quickly you want the job completed?
