About
I have been intrigued with the muscles of the body since my early teens and this has led me to really find my calling in life. I love helping people with short term and long term muscle dysfunction. In my 15 year career, I have had the opportunity to receive specialized training in many different modalities from orthopedic to medical massage to neuromuscular therapy. Having spent many years working directly under a chiropractor, I have thrived on being able to work with many different types of bodies, from elders to blue collar to athletes. Through the years of my practice, I have also learned the importance of allowing my clients to relax and unwind while I do my work as to ensure the muscles release most efficiently.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I ensure to ask why my client has come in. Sometimes folks may have aches and pains, but would prefer to just relax and not focus on those pains. If they are looking for pain relief, I get a fairly detailed description of where the pain is and make an assessment of where I need to focus. I then convey my intentions to the client in a concise manner. As I do my work, I continually check in with a new client to gage how they are feeling and if we ever need to switch to a different modality if they are not fully satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed the neuromuscular therapy program at Oakhaven massage and spent many years working under a chiropractor and working with many different muscle disorders.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I specialize in neck pain/headaches/migraines and low back pain. If you have tried many different avenues to ease your pain and nothing's worked, long term, it very well could be a tight muscle or two throwing the rest of your body off. I can help!
