My personal ministry mission statement is "To develop ministries for people and to develop people for ministry". I have provided career counseling and coashing for 30+ years. I have helped thousands of persons make career choices and develop a road map up the career ladder and/or understand their Spiritual gifts and find their place in ministries. I have been developing leaders for the market place and the church for 30+ years. I am passionate about teaching and coaching individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations (churches and new and emerging ministries and nonprofits) how to create and sustain a high-performance culture for themselves, their team, and their organization by following a road map custom-designed to accelerate results. I leverage my Masters's Degree and multiple certifications and 30+ years of industry experience to propel my clients to even more success with strategy coaching on clarifying purpose, setting goals, implementing systems, and monitoring progress. Through my roles as Executive Pastor, CEO, ED, Director, and Church Consultant, I develop leaders and organizations.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Coaching Session - We begin with a career counseling session to understand your goals and interests.
Assessments - Next, you will take a series of online assessments of personality, interest, passion, experience, and Skill.
Career Choices Coaching Session - In the next coaching session will review your results and beginning crystalizing your career choices.
Further Training or Education - We will identify any additional training or education you will need to achieve your career goals integrating them into a roadmap for your next career move and futures career advancements. I will assist you in identifying the best training or education programs for you.
Document creation - We will develop a resume, references, cover letter, and thank you note.
Job Search Training - You will receive training on how to conduct your job search.
Interview Skills - You will receive training on interview skills-Competence Based interview, Cultural Interview, Balance Interview techniques, and traditional questions for a job interview.
Job Search - I will coach you through the job search.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My undergraduate work was in Human Resources from Cornel University.
I have a Master's Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in Christian Leadership Development.
I have several certifications from the University of North Texas.

I have provided career counseling and job placement for 30+ years in a private employment agency and in several nonprofits.
I am the CEO and founder of Kingdom Works. We provide employment readiness training and job placement for 7 years for people with disabilities in the greater Houston area.

How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business in career counseling and job placement in 1974 as a Job Placement Specialist at Rochester Rehabilitation Center in Rochester, NY. I became the Director of Job Placement when my boss retired. I was employed there for 7 years. I feel in love with the work and I have continued to do it off and on throughout my career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people in blue-collar, office clerical, and professional careers in all types of industries. I have placed from groundskeeper and maintenance to executives in small, mid-size, and fortune 500 companies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I enjoyed conducting an interview skills training webinar on Zoom. It was interactive with great participation from those attending.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say make sure they love the work, have a positive outlook, be inspiring, and can help those they coach or counsel get a clear vision for the possibilities for their future.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The customer should give time to thinking about what they enjoy doing and where they feel most at home and comfortable and be able to communicate that to the counselor. They should also consider what cost they are willing to pay to get where they want to go - are they willing to get further training if needed.
