About

I was born in Illinois in 1976, and moved to the

suburbs of Houston in 1983.

After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1999, I moved back to Houston. I'm a wife, mom, and educator of 15 years.

I have a certificate in biblical counseling, and am currently pursuing my master's degree in School Counseling,

and am the host of the Common Sense Counseling podcast.

I am a life coach & counselor for youth and adults, specializing in the practice of reality, existential, and faith based cognitive behavioral therapies.

I love partnering with people to help them navigate tough life issues, and pursue health, healing, and wholeness.

Marianne has a relatable, easygoing style. She is great to work with and really helped me become more strategic and aware of how to meet my goals.

I found the information helpful as I am planning to become a coach and dont know where and how to start. In this interview author covers what is a coach and his coaching structures and policies. How he sets his coaching fees, and prices of his training material on website. I feel that I still have to read more books before I buy his expensive courses. I didnt like much the term yeah used for answering to authors questions. But interview seems to be genuine and Dave seems to walk his talks.
