Fresh Notion Financial Services offers outsourced CFO & Controller services to public and private companies in a broad range of industries. We customize our services in response to our client’s goals for their accounting and financial reporting departments. These goals include enhancing technical accounting knowledge, process improvement, deadline management, and overall cost savings. Our approach is to understand your company both in its current state as well as where you plan to take it and create a service offering that is both flexible and reliable as your business changes. Common services we provide are ongoing management of your period end close process, bookkeeping and/or financial reporting function. In addition, we often serve as your primary contact with your independent auditors. Our extensive audit experience allows us to streamline the information your company provides to the auditors resulting in a less disruptive (and often less frustrating) audit process. We strive to keep our clients focused on the future of their business and not bogged down meeting compliance objectives. In addition to the above we can also assist with various projects that come up from time to time. These one off projects are often burdensome to your current staff and can create overwhelming demands on them. Some examples of these projects include due diligence on an acquisition, review of financial statements and footnotes or preparation of a technical memo.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free consultation to figure out exactly what services are need and what services are not needed. We try to customize our approach to fit the customers needs and budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All members of our team have at least a bachelors degree in accounting. In addition we all have many years of experience working with QuickBooks and supporting the accounting needs of small businesses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, we don't have standard pricing. We work to set up an approach that fits each customer. Some customers prefer a fixed monthly rate while others prefer an hourly rate. Some customers prefer that we teach them how to handle some of the accounting responsibliites themselves while others prefer we do it all. Our goal is to support your business.

We have worked with small business in a variety of industries. Our experience includes restaurants, tech companies, services companies, oil & gas companies & construction companies.
