About
I take the time to dive into your concerns and help categorize your transactions in a way that’s easy for you to understand, and pay special attention to any red flags that may come up. Often times I ask my clients for documents in relation to their accounting up front, and get asked, “My previous bookkeeper or tax preparer didn’t need those. Why do you?”. The answer is easy. I do my homework on the front end. I make sure you’ve got all your bases covered in the beginning, rather than as an afterthought towards the end. This helps my clients feel safe and protected, and reassured that I am doing my best to protect their hard-earned assets.
As a public servant for over 18 years working in the US government in a variety of roles dealing with customer service, accounting and auditing responsibilities, my ability to analyze detail goes down to the granular level. I’m highly knowledgeable in finance and auditing procedures, and particularly skilled in identifying discrepancies and correcting data, and I possess the customer service and communication skills to then relay my knowledge to you. I work with you on your level, not at you on somebody else's level.
