My clients describe me as very compassionate and very direct, and able to connect deeply with them and the issues they face. Whether its disturbing thinking, mood issues, life dilemmas, work or relationship issues, I provide a unique approach that both uplifts and empowers clients to resolve emotional anquish, clarify thinking, and achieve greater inner harmony, functioning, and joy for life!
I enjoy guiding people into greater peace and joy, connecting with their deeper sense of self and dignity; sharing unique ways of looking at and resolving life's 'problems'!
This work is a calling for me, a dance of the spirit. It is as if I hear an exquisite melody and lead others to hear it and master the dance of life! If I were a poet, that's how I'd describe what my work is like. :)
As of 2018, this is my 18th year in the field and my 10th year in private practice!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients normally ask initial questions and share basic issues over the phone to confirm I deal with their issue(s). Once clients decide to schedule, I ask them what days and times work best for them as well as inform them that a $25 deposit is required to hold the first session time. This gets applied to their last session, provided no appointments have been missed. The email for Paypal deposit is: [email protected]
I encourage clients to bring a notepad and to consider their life goals beyond just solving their dilemma.
Once the appointment time is set, I require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel in order to not be charged for the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in social psychology as well as a Master's in Social Work. I completed 3000 clinical hours of training post Master's to sit for the LCSW exam. I have been practicing at the masters level for 14 years and am in my 10th year of private practice. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, schools, and various agencies. I have extensive experience working with adults and teens, as well as couples and families. I also have certification in treating 'anger management' issues; have been interviewed on both radio and TV, with the bounty to work with 'Paula' on TLC's "My 600 lb Life."

One hour sessions are $125
Prepaid for 4 sessions is $395.
Anger Managment alone is: $400 prepaid for 5 sessions.
I am in-network with Blue Cross, Tricare, and traditional Medicare.
