Problem solving and People Management are the key elements that keep me doing what I do everyday. It is rewarding to be able to assist others in fixing their problems by collaborating my experience and knowledge in a way that helps others. From the beginning of my career in HR, I love the fact that at the end of each day I could walk away saying I changed someone's day today whether it was via a job and changing their finances or finding great talent for a department to meet their deadlines. I was an essential part in identifying a way to fix the need. Of course life situations may not always be that easy but if we keep working various techniques and strategies from tried and true methodologies then the positive outcomes will arise and that is motivating to ME.

How did you get started in this business?
After college I went directly into working for a Staffing firm as I had worked temporarily during my last semester of college. That was my introduction into HR and although I worked as an assistant; I was remembering the candidates and profiles better than the recruiters so I was promoted within the first 6 months to a Staff Recruiter or Talent Advisor. However as a musician at an early age, and on staff at my church as a teenager I started leading others early on. After College, I continued to mentor the Youth and work with the Youth programs and Women's Organizations as a resource for self improvement, education, career guidance etc., Therefore, with my years of experience, the experiences began to mesh together into life coaching, training and development, mentoring, guidance and preparation tutorials for transitional life changes. Those life changes may be work related, family related, or interpersonal but there are several methodologies, practices, and techniques that can be used to assist us all in accomplishing our desired goals.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individual subordinate staff, managerial/supervisors, as well as C-Suite level staff including entrepreneurs, and Contracted Individual contributors.
Some of the companies I have worked with include small start up companies, mid-tenured, and long-term branded organizational leaders and departments. This will include non-profit organizations, churches, and school staff as well.
Challenges and profiles derail us all at all different levels; however getting the right information or technique to overcome them can be priceless towards dreams and aspirations coming true
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was recently selected to be a Thought Leader for the Women Information Network, which highlights women to share their information and advantageous resources towards helping others to achieve success. They currently have 52K members indicated on their website and they were only picking 200 so I am truly honored. Also they have asked me to feature one of my motivational songs "I WIN" during their 2021 International Women's Network conference in March 2021. This exposure overall will be great and I am elated that they have recognized my work and experience that is contributable towards others globally.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise anyone to do their homework, as everyone is doing, search them on Social Media, gain a full awareness of who they are and how they can assist you with achieving your goals. My belief is that anyone that wants to earn your business should be able to discuss briefly first before expecting a signed agreement or a session for payment. That is what we do as an initial assessment which allows you to get to know the person and feel confident in making your decision.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First, truly assess or identify what your conflict or problem maybe and be able to write or describe it fully. Then be prepared to discuss your obstacles or challenges that you are needing help with as well as the barriers or distractions that are a hinderance. Finally, be able to describe what success looks like for YOU and only YOU. Not comparing to someone else's success Be clear as to what you are desiring and not what you think someone else has. Knowing these things would be helpful for a Coach to develop a strategy plan to work on towards your desired outcome.
