What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First visit is designed for me to get know client and client to get know me.  I want to know the passions of my clients and what they expect their retirement years to look like. We gather financial information to begin to formulate a recomendation.  Very rarely offer recomendation on first visit. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an Investment Advisors Representative having taken the required classes and passed the Series 65 Exam.  I have attended countless seminars on the workings of life insurance products and the suitablilty of these products to various clients. I have completed Medicare certification every year since 2006 to be able to give my clients the most up to date informations. 

I have taken advanced training in Social Security Maximumzation. I believ Social Security plays an intricate role i retirement income planing.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Insurance pricing is pretty well fixed by companies with no opportunity to negotiate.  However the big difference can always be an independent agent who represent the clients best interest not a paticular comapny so that is what I do.  I am an independent agent and have aligned myself with one of the top Insurance Marketing firms allowing me access to dozens of comapnies and their products and services. 

Our Firm charges a single wrap-fee for investment services.


How did you get started in this business?

I have followed my father in the business and took over the comapny on his passing.  I have over 45 years of experiance in sales and have always been at the highest level of sales achievement. 


What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all kinds of clients, from those who rely on medicaid for their healthcare services to high net earners and comapny excutives. 


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

It is not uncommon for me to travel 200 miles or more to meet with a client referrall.  In fact I consider a referall to have the highest priority when it comes to client services because not only is my reputation on the line but my client who made the referral as well. 


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

You want someone who you feel is looking out for you.  This is not necesarilly someone who can throw out a lot of numbers and statistics.  How much interaction is the advisor willing to give you? How often should you expect to recieve a personal contact. Just about all adisors will conduct a client review once a year, but will your advisor reach out to you when times are tough or just to say hello. This person is going to be looking out for your retiement income needs.
