What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with an initial consultation to get to know each other and assess the needs and expectations. After this process a quote is provided and engagement is initiated which outlines scope of work, timeline and payment arrangements. The work is completed and the client is billed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BBA in Accounting
Enrolled Agent (EA) designation certified by the IRS and requires annual continuing education
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business when I helped my father with an IRS levy many years ago. I was able to work with the IRS to get him in compliance and I found out the IRS was not as scary as most people think.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of my clients are small business owners with annual revenues from $100k to $5M
More and more of my clients are moving to e-commerce platforms. I work with many industries from job costing to personal service.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice is to get to know the pro and ask many questions. Make sure you feel comfortable with the answers and you can have a relationship with the pro to help grow your business and be a resource for you.
