What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first find out what the needs are of the customer then let them know how I can or can't assist them. Most of our work is done remotely.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 38 years of being in the accounting industry. I make sure that I stay informed of new tax laws and changes by taking classes. I am a Quickbooks ProAdvisor since 2002.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My price starts at $65 for tax returns but goes up from there according to the forms you will need processed. Bookkeeping starts at $50 per hour.
How did you get started in this business?
After multiple lay offs I opened a really small office. I had one customer that quickly grew to multiple customers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Churches, Real Estate, Property Management, Construction, Sound Installation, Lawyers, Doctors, Car Sales, Restaurants, Authors, Publishers and Golf Courses.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about what your budget is. Many times a customer may think it is not much work and it is more than they thought.
