About

Business Brokers Network (BBN) and RWS Business Valuation Services (RWS) are well established businesses recognized nationally for our trained BBN Affiliation Members. BBN and RWS personnel focus upon sellable businesses which must be profitable and operating in a location and/or in an industry that appears to be trending profitable during the immediate future.

When struggling clients are encountered, BBN and RWS offer effective business consulting services via an affiliated business, Stoneleigh Business Advisors (SBA). Our objective in such situations is to allow the current business owner to achieve a profitable level of sales and industry targeted expense and profit margins that allows the business owner to continue operating the business profitably or to sell the business later.

Most members of my parents family were small business owners. I listened and observed their conversations and activities to become familar with their lifestyle and associated challenges. During my college years In worked in family businesses to pay expenses including living costs. During my years working in public accounting in Dallas, TX with inter- national accounting firms including eleven years working at Haggar Slacks (later known as Haggar Apparel Company) increased in size approximately five-hundred percent during my years there. I was fortunate to work with such a talented family business and successful business. I operated my CPA Firm thirteen years and my wife was my first employee and we grew to almost forty employees. In 1977 I assisted an accounting client to acquire a business in Dallas and thereafter was recruited by other ckients ti help sell their businesses. In 1981 I sold my first substantial business and collected a consulting and brokerage fee of almost $100,000 and in 1989 elected to brpker businesses only as my chosen profession. I was fortunate to work with several accomplished business owners that also allowed me to benefit from their mentoring abilities. Most of all I really enjoy my work and the people that I meet.

Since 1989 I have assisted business owners and/or business buyers to buy or sell over one-hundred businesses. The transaction prices ranged from $65,000 (a female owned dermitology salon) to over $50,000,000 (a fully occupied regional shopping center acquired by a NYSE firm based in Atlanta, GA. Both businesses sold were located in Dallas, TX.

Since 2006, I have assisted BBN Affiliation Members to sell businesses of various sizes located from coast-to-coast in the United States.

Our family was able to attend all three graduation services even though one graduation event was conducted at 10:00 am at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Another graduation event was conducted at 3:00pm at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and the third graduation event was conducted at 7:30pm at Southern Methodist University in Dallas,TX.

All three of these graduates now live and work in Dallas, TX.

If possible discuss the pro with a business owner that the pro previously assisted and carefully assess th level of "Good Chemistery". A talented business broker can help the business owner/seller or business/buyer complete the closing on a business sale with substantially more cash when the transaction is properly structured.
