I started working bookkeeping and taxes on my first year of college in 1991 after taking my first two accounting classes. My teacher referred me to a job and I have stayed doing bookkeeping and taxes since then. The pleasure of working so close to the client and in such an important task for the business is very gratifying.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Just make sure they are honest and do not play with the laws. It is ok to be aggressive doing taxes but breaking the law is not my thing. Also, make sure they give you a good balance of paying the lesser taxes possible while reporting the highest amount of income. Planning is the key.
