"Just as normal people have physical health problems so do normal people have mental health problems." I listen carefully in order to understand your concerns. My focus is always on helping you develop the skills and perspective you need in order to solve your own problems.
I enjoy being able to assist clients who are in crisis or "stuck." Often, a client is "too close to the forest to see the trees" and needs a neutral, objective & compassionate listener to help empower them with tools & skills that will enhance self-understanding and dramatically improve their ability to identify effectively manage their emotions and discover solutions for overcoming obstacles to leading happier & more enjoyable lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a result of the pandemic, a new client as the option having a Teletherapy session or coming into the office for their session. New clients are sent an e-mail explaining how they can access Therapy Appointment, a confidential website where they can schedule appointments & submit relevant information prior to their initial appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Florida (1982) with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.

future appointments (45 minutes): $120
