Global Wealth Advisors
About
Global Wealth Advisors has the resources and flexibility to provide people with a custom tailored personal financial planning solution. Our process is designed to ensure that our clients never outgrow a stagnant plan, rather the plan continues to evolve as their lives advance. Our exceptional team includes experts in investment management, retirement planning, risk management, tax reduction planning, estate planning, debt and cash flow analysis, education planning, and philanthropy.
GWA was formed in 2008 to meet independence from “in-house” products for clients who are typically seeking advanced solutions to complex financial situations. An important part of GWA’s 3P Approach© to planning is working with our clients’ other trusted advisors like CPAs, insurance agents and attorneys in a collaborative “team” effort. We help clients put the pieces of their financial puzzle together, so they feel secure in knowing their financial matters are in order.
We value giving back to the communities in which we operate. Through GWA Gives© we actively engage with the community through a variety of volunteer and philanthropic activities. This giving philosophy also extends to educating the public about the various financial strategies they can use. To that end, we publish a monthly newsletter, blog, videos, and podcast that are useful for people at any stage of their financial life. For more information, please visit www.gwadvisors.net.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An important part of the process is our proprietary 3P Approach© to financial planning. This approach is designed to ensure that our clients grow into their plans as life unfolds and evolves. The “team” aspect is an important part of our process. We work with your other advisors like CPAs and attorneys, as a collaborative team.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®), Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®), have passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification exam, am an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and hold FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network®. I am also a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
How we are paid is determined by whether you engage in our consulting services, asset management program, or both.
We offer basic, advanced, executive concierge, and a la carte pricing. Contact us to learn more about our fees at www.gwadvisors.net.
What types of customers have you worked with?
For us it's about the relationship. Finding a good fit with our clients is important to us so we only take on a handful of new clients each year.
We work with clients who are typically seeking advanced solutions to complex financial situations. Because our process grows with our clients as their life unfolds, we also have several generations of families working with us.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask for a written description of any potential conflicts of interest. You should also ask for a written agreement and price schedule that will detail the level of services that will be provided to you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It is important to consider how your potential advisor is compensated. Do they receive large, up-front commissions, or are they paid an ongoing fee for providing advice and the management of your portfolio?
