Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently was able to affect relationships and prevent family dissolution with a young couple with 2 children under age 10.
Both my clients were professional essential workers with limited time to build trust. I was able to direct them toward positive outcomes and revise and re-evaluate their coping mechanisms with roleplay and honesty in all that they did, within the relationship as well as when alone.
10 years on they remain in love and have a happy and successful marriage.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a GOOD person who is a therapist as well. Someone who listens to you and is able to give you advice and help you navigate this crazy life and world.
TRUST your instincts. Your therapist does. She knows what it feels like to lose someone you love, be terrified at doing everyday things, talking to others, work, and all the rest of it.
If you feel abused in any way come to me. That is where I can and will help you find peace and safety, and even help you with your relationship/s at home and at work if and as needed.
If you are an addict of any kind you can be frank and honest with me because I can and will help you. If that is not possible there are others who can help you too. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I am a music addict! So what? It's all about connecting with the RIGHT therapist. I have been a patient as well as a therapist for almost 25 years. I know how you feel.
Depression - if on antidepressants what are they? Do they work FOR YOU? Suicidal thoughts and deeds and OCD are all part of a bigger picture in your gallery of life. We must learn to let go. Move on. Find peace.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you have a positive attitude toward your therapy and therapist? How much time do you spend on yourself? What do you love? What makes you crack up? What is your medical history? Any family history of depression? Are you able to talk about what you feel and what you need?
If you are severely depressed, you do not see it, but others do. After Covid, we are finding more and more triggers for anger and anxiety. Desentisatation is hard to spell, and it is also HARD WORK. I will help you rest a little easier and find balance in your life. No two people are the same. We are all perfectly imperfect.
