Im an Enrolled Agent. An enrolled agent (or EA) is a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasuryto represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Enrolled agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS.
The EA credential is recognized across all 50 U.S. states. Attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs) are licensed on a state by state basis.

How did you get started in this business?
The first person I represented before the IRS was my mother. It was fulfilling to see the relief in her eyes when I successfully negotiated with the IRS. That's sparked a desire to help other families and businesses with similar circumstances.

Varies customers throughout the years. Blue collar and white collar alike receive the same quality services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Won an audit for a single mother of a child with type 1 diabetes. IRS denied her when she handled the audit, so retained my services and I fought for her and her daughter until we received justice!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
All needs are not created equal and rightfully so the practitioners. Make sure your chosen professional specializes in your needs area.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have your most ideal outcome in mind and be open to paying for quality. Cheapest is not a solutions determining factor, it's an emotional one.
