What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For Medical Qigong Therapy clients are asked to fill out an initial consultation form which we will review together during our first scheduled session. (1.5 to 2 hours in length)

At the end of that session, if the cleint decides this is a path they wish to take, we establsih and plan for follow up sessions.

Homework is given each session and expectations are set for the next meeting. Depending on the client, the homework could be physical, mental or emotional in nature.

This is an individual healing journey and we walk together at the client's chosen pace.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Master of Medical Qigong Certification from the International College of Medical Qigong; currently working on my Doctor of Medical Qigong Certification.

I spent 4 successful years as a clinician at three North Texas Veteran's Administration Hospitals using Medical Qigong Therapy as a wellness modality. A total of 7 years at two other behavioral health hospitals as part of the wellness team, again using Medical Qigong as a wellness modality for adult psyche, critical stabilization, chemical dependancy, geriactric psyche, active duty military, and as the only male therapist on a women's trauma unit for 5 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

As of November 2019

Initial Consultation - $175.00

Follow Up Sessions - $125.00

Additionally, we offer a sliding scale (for those who ask) becuase we truly believe money should not interfere with ones abilty to heal. The only caveat to the sliding scale is that you are prepared to honor both of us by working on your healing in earnest.

How did you get started in this business?

That is a very long journey which started with my own deeply wounded self. Being physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually abused as a child, left me with very unhealthy coping mechanisms. As I matured, these "survival tools" were now squarely in my way. I began seeking Traditional Chinese Medicine as a path forward in 1991 and continue my journey today. Each day, I find new perspectives, tools and deeper levels of integration for myself, and my cleints.

We grow, together.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Age range from 14 to 103 (literally) ;-)

All walks of life have blessed me with their presence.

The only thing I ask of my cleints is that they are ready to work on themselves in earnest. I do not have all the answers to their lives, they do.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I observed one of my younger cleints (21 year old female) find her inner strength after a particulalry traumatic event / year and stand up for herself in a beautiful and powerful way. This is why I go to work each day, for these moments of clarity and heart centered strength.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

It is very important to verify their expereince and feel safe in their presence. Trust is earned, not expected. You are embarking on an intimate journey of healing and it should feel safe to you at every moment. You should be able to speak freely and feel heard.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

When I seek to quiet my mind, settle my emotions and relax my body, what is in my way?
