What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a call to make sure that we understand the client and thier needs. We discuss expectations and cost of services. If we mutually agree to move forward, new customer will reeive and sign an agreement which will prompt our onboarding process. We strive to make everything as clear and simple as possible. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters of Finance and Accounting and currently am studying to obtain additional certifications in my field including CMA ( Certified Managerial Accountant and CFP(Certified Financial Planner) 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Yes we have what we call a menu of services with pricing. Then we piece together what combination works best to tailor to our client's needs. 


How did you get started in this business?

I have always been fascinated with numbers and analytics. I started in this feild at 18 years old doing statistics and impact analysis, moving to accounting and risk reduction, to CFO roles and Advisory contracts. 


What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers who are in the start up phase to medium size businesses across an array of industries. Our primary industries are oil and gas, trucking, real estate, and manufacturing. We also support ecommerce, non-profits and HOAs to name a few. I typically train or recruit a replacement for myself when clients hit the mid-size status so they can have a dedicated professional and I can open my time to help the next upcoming business. 


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask questions!!! Especially for an accountant or tax preparer. This person is going to know more about you that sometimes your own spouse or parents will so you need to enjoy working with them and trust them. If you cannot have open discussions with the person managing your tax strategy and financial future than you need to find someone you can freely speak with so you are set up for success. 


What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

1) What is my need?

2) Am i the best person to fill that need?

3) Always ask the pros to tell you the answers to the questions you might not know to ask. They should always be thinking one step ahead of you, that is why they are the pros.
