I hold a Bachelors degree from Houston Baptist Univeristy where I studied Computer Science and Business Management. I have been designing websites for 20+ years and now I prefer to build sites using WordPress.

I enjoy WordPress and search engine optimization with the Yoast premium plugin. I have used every SEO tool under the sun and over the years, I have fallen in love with Yoast. It just works!

How did you get started in this business?
I started my first web hosting company in 1998 in Houston, Texas. Originally, it was for local doctors in Houston. But then it grew quite a bit and eventually, I moved to Austin because back then - there were not a lot of people that were familiar with the Internet and I needed qualified employees. Today, I am still in the same business after 20 years. I have designed with almost every software and CMS out there, but my favorite is WordPress powered by the Genesis framework and I don't even feel like what I do is "work" because I enjoy it so much. We recently re-designed our own website https://www.greenhostit.com
Being in the web design business, we spend so much time on client's websites, so we rarely work on our own website. This year in January we launched a new web design and its been very successful in Google.
