I am an intuitive bodyworker with 20+ years experience who is licensed in Texas and studied additionally at OVCMT in Canada. I traveled for about 2 years with Cirque du Soleil, have worked with a number of chiropractors and PTs. I've created a style in which I amplify myofascial release techniques which tend to expedite the freeing/healing process. I am well-versed in numerous protocols from relaxation massage to deep tissue and strive to provide the best technique and pressure for each client. My healing center is paired with a contemporary art gallery, the healing center being the space's primary purpose.
The body's ability to heal itself is amazing and I love contributing to the process; not only via physical manipulations of tissue, but by helping the client to identify what the issues are and how they might find their best way to comfort.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began studying bodywork in a dojo and was a martial artist for about 7 years, worked as a part time massage therapist before there was a licensing program, took a number of years of pre-med studies, traveled with Cirque du Soleil (amazing learning experience and I studied various physical, energetic, and intellectual protocols in numerous states), was licensed in Dallas, TX, studied at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in British Columbia, and have continued to study and research. I utilize several technologies to assist my clients on their paths to comfort and greater health including a far-infrared sauna and a neurostimulating light that helps people reach meditative states called the Lucid Light.

How did you get started in this business?
I was injured in a Karate survival camp at the age of 14 and the sifus had to use accupressure and shiatzu to get my arm to operate in such a manner as to hide it from my parents. It was remarkable what they were able to do. I began utilizing techniques I learned and finding more to work with. I began massaging football players and cheerleaders at my highschool in 1982 and applied for a license when I began college in 1985. The city officials gave me an adult entertainment license to fill out and opted to wait until there was a licensure specific to the work I was doing.

Martial artists, silk aerialists, trapeze artists, acrobats, yogis, motivational speakers, engineers, attorneys, massage therapists, Rolfers, golfers, pilots, bicyclists, runners, dancers, truckers, stay-at-home parents, corporate captives, and entrepreneurs.
