With a discreet and beautiful spa-like setting overlooking the Bear Creek greenbelt, we are honored to provide professional support to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Just 10 miles from the beautiful downtown Austin area, SACS is discreetly located in the far-south Austin unincorporated community of Manchaca, Texas.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact us at 512-280-5315 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment or a free initial phone consultation with one of our counselors. Let us know what you want to accomplish in counseling, and we will recommend the provider that will best meet your needs. We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our professional counselors have Masters or Doctoral degrees and are licensed by the state of Texas.

How did you get started in this business?
After spending 12 years in a solo private practice, I developed South Austin Counseling Services as a group practice by partnering with outstanding clinicians in order to provide diverse, expanded services to our community.

We have served individual clients of all ages (3+), couples, families and groups.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The most important factor in getting what you want and need out of professional counseling is the relationship comfort between the counselor and the client. Trust and warmth in the counseling relationship is the foundation of success!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First, ask yourself, "What do I want out of this experience?" If you can answer that question, great! If you aren't sure, please know that is not uncommon. Sometimes people just don't feel "right," but they cannot identify what is wrong. Your counselor can help you determine your goals.
