As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Wes Shannon is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting is free and the purpose is to determine if I can be of any assistance and if you want to work with me.
After the first meeting if we agree to proceed, I have the client sign a contract and we begin to gather information and setup accounts if needed.
A comprehensive financial plan can take 2 to 4 weeks depending a lot upon the documents collection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in Business Administration majoring in Risk Management, Insurance, and Financial Services from the University of North Texas.
I am a certified financial planner professional™ by the CFP Board of Standards.
