Lotus Asset Management
About
Lotus works exclusively with young professionals, bringing high-net-worth strategies directly to 20-45yr olds. We work on budgeting and expense analysis, financial planning (short and long term), investment management, and advise on other financial matters without any additional fees (eg. buying a house, insurance, student debt, etc).
I love helping people free themselves from financial stress. It is liberating to have confidence in your financial future, and allows you to live the life that you've actually envisioned, rather than one that is constrained at every turn. We think high quality, affordable advice should be available to everyone, and we make sure that the youngest generations are getting access to it immediately!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Walk through your current situation, expenses, income, current assets, current debts, and your short/long term plans. We ask what truly makes a client happy - and that's what we strive to help them achieve. We then educate clients about the process, what to realistically expect from their financial situation and our work together, and create a financial plan (and subsequent investment strategy) tailored to the specific situation. Then we make sure to review and update that plan/strategy as often as is appropriate!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We charge a percentage of the funds that we personally invest. We do not charge any other fees or get compensated in any other way, in order to prevent any biases that may arise from product suggestions (of which we have none), etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask lots of questions, get very comfortable, and don't choose until you absolutely trust that person's experience and abilities.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Experience, fees (amount, sources of compensation), products sold by the company, conflicts of interest
