Marie has 15 years of experience and expertise in tax preparation and Bookkeeping. Marie is the 2021 winner of Bark Certificate of Excellence!
She started working at Lawson Kendall, CPA in Honolulu, Hawaii back in 2009. She also worked at the Hawaii Dept. of Taxation for a couple of tax seasons. Marie relocated to Washington state and worked at Evergreen Tax Service in 2012. Marie founded ProWise Tax Service and Accounting in 2017 and has recently relocated to the Knoxville area in Tennessee. She serves clients in the surrounding area as well as remotely.
Marie is dedicated to serving small business clients as well as Individuals with the preparation of their tax returns. She also offers Bookkeeping services, tax advisory, and new business formation.

My former CPA boss had inspired me and suggest I pursue it.

Individual and business clients. My expertise is working with small business owners to help them get started with their Bookkeeping and stay organized as well as helping them reduce their tax liability legally.

Please make sure that the pro is experienced, personable, caring, and ethical.

First - ask about their experiences.
Second - if they are current with IRS Continuing Education including Ethics.
Third - if they will do their best in going the extra mile for their clients.
Last - ask them about a scenario how they have gone above and beyond in helping a client.
