What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet (either in person by phone call or an online meeting) and discuss their needs and complete a tax orginizer to ensure we have all the documents we need. We answer any questions and concerns. After the meeting, we return to our office to complete the return and make arrangements to meet with the client to go over the return and explain why they are receving a refund or why their is a balance due. Once the return is signed we file the tax return electrontically. If the client is receiving a refund it will be deposited directly into their bank account or receive a check by mail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Accounting and over 18 years experince in the industry.
How did you get started in this business?
I was working with a locally owned business shortly after marrying my husband and the sweet business owner allowed me to start keeping her books with alot of love and encouragement. That is how I found my passion twenty years ago.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I love working with many types of clients. I have a large number of miliary clients all over the country, local people who love our community and serveral business owners that work hard to keep our economy going and provide services needed in our area.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone you feel is trustworthy and is a good fit for you. You don't have to go to a brick and mortor building with flashing lights, alot of TV air time and people dressed in customes waving at your as you drive by. Instead select someone that you can call all year long and know the same person will answer the phone each and every time.
