I was born on the island of Jamaica and spent summers in the countryside watching my grandma mix herbs for every ailment under the sun. I was so inspired that I started crushing hibiscus flower to make my own version of oils and perfumes! Little did I know this was actually aromatherapy. In Jamaica we didn't have much cable so I grew up watching Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman and decided I wanted to be a modern day Shaman! I was a kid, what did I know. Funny how life's memories hold the key to one's path... I named my first born from that show lol and in 2006 I started my career in massage therapy and natural healing - I've never felt so sure! I could be tired and I'll start to work on someone and I myself become transformed mind, body and soul. Massage and being a Shaman healer has been a calling for me! I feel so alive, confident and blessed to be able to help another person through their journey to recovery from pain, stress, gaining better flexibility and range of motion and most importantly uplifting the soul for its higher purpose. May I join you on your journey?

    Frequently asked questions

A phone introduction is always nice so you can hear each other's  voice and concerns or compassion. I like to find out what's their initial reason for seeking a massage and also if they are celebrating something special.

Since my initial start in 2006, I have completed a lot of workshops to keep my skills fresh and make sure I'm continuing to learn any new techniques to better assist the body on its healing journey. Some of my specialties are Deep Tissue, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial Release, Rolfing and Thai Yoga Massage... all these are great for structural re-integration of the body to achieve balance, freedom from restrictions and greater range of motion and mobility. I specialize in treating headaches, neck injuries and low back/hip/glutes problems.

I generally prefer to do longer sessions from 90-150 minutes because I can address a lot in that time while still enabling the relaxation effect. However, for shorter 30-60 minutes session I recommend weekly or bi-montly sessions to achieve optimum results, therefore prices vary depending on treatment and length.

As a youth I watched my grandma mix herbs to cure anything we had. I didn't know it then but it became the foundation for things I did. I inheritted her gene for healing and so when I started going to a chiropractor in 2004 I asked for a job doing massage because I was fascinated by watching his videos of the bones pulling on the muscles, ligaments and tendons and vice versa. He encouraged me to go to school and I did!

Oh my! From desk jockeys, weekend warriors to stressed-to-near-breaking moms. My youngest client was 2 months old and I did Baby Bowenwork, my oldest so far has been 98!

I recently had the chance to work on a college basketball team competing for a championship game. It was 3 hours straight, player after player and I felt exhausted.. the next day the coach messaged me to say the players said they have never felt better and more prepared for their game. I felt proud of myself for delivering.

Read reviews and if you need to contact referrals please do. It's OK to get several options and then decide. Ultimately you won't know what someone can do for YOU until they touch YOUR body. For me, it's not simply about earning money, I feel energy and I innately know when I can be beneficial to someone.

Hmm..I'm not sure. Each person will be different... but go with your gut instincts and if you have a question or hesitation voice it. Always. And continue to provide feedback throughout your session. Never grin and bear it, it's your body, you know it best!
