We bill to over ten insurance companies and we provide self-scheduling for our clients. Harbor of Hope has seen over 900 clients within the last nine years of existence. We recently expanded our practice to include one additional counselor and two part time office staff. We serve areas such as Columbia, Luzerne and Montour Counties. We offer clinical counseling, relationship counseling, behavioral counseling, family counseling, Christian counseling, and other relates services.
Keith is a licensed professional counselor with a master degree in counseling. He is the owner or Harbor of Hope Counseling and has practiced since 2008.
Joe has a masters degree in counseling and has recently joined Harbor of Hope.
We enjoy helping people recover from crises and move forward into a productive and meaningful future.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All clients are directed to the website where they can select the schedule now button to setup an account with our scheduling app. (Schedulicty) Once clients have an account they will be able to schedule their own appointments to
fit their own schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's degree in professional counseling.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
60 dollars for cash paying clients for one hour sessions.
Clients using insurance will pay co-pays at time of service.
Clients using EAP's will have no payment until they have completed all EAP Sessions.
How did you get started in this business?
I started the business myself. I worked for 2 different non-profit organizations for 6 years prior to starting my own company. i started on a part time basisi in the evenings and as my business grew and obtain more contracts with insurance business it grew to sustain itself.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We serve a variety of clients ranging from the age of 8-80 years. Additionally we have served a variety of different types of income levels and family backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Through Covid- 19 our practice has learned to provide excellent care to our clients through telehealth by phone and by video. We have had the opportunity to help many people who couldnt leave their homes find peace and wholeness in a time of great uncertainty.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure to check their credentials and ask for references from previous clients.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I prepared to make the neccesary changes to become mentally healthy?
Am I prepared to get rid of the things in my life that hinder my growth?
Am I willing to put into practice the coping skills my counselor feels are neccesary?
