Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a client in-take form which we fill out first that has all the pertinent information needed to file a proper income tax return.
We do our due diligence and ask the proper questions and proper documentation needed to file an income tax return.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take continuing education classes every year to be on par with the most up to date information from the IRS and states.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes we do. Our prices range from $75 for a single person or married filing jointly couple with no dependents. $120 for any filer (single, married filing jointly and married filing separately) with a dependent child.
How did you get started in this business?
I purchased a "multi-Service" business that provided several services to customers but tax preparation is what stood out the most to me so I closed the other services and stayed with tax preparation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of clients. Hispanics, African Americans, Chinese Americans, etc. We do NOT discriminate. We have built a large client base that has become like family over the years.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We reached our goal of 1000 clients this tax season. All with the help of our loyal clients and their referrals. Word of mouth is the best advertisement.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say, ask around. Ask a lot of questions. Get a feel of the office space and the vibe, aura of the people. If it doesn't feel good, then give your thanks and politely leave.
