What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. Joel Lopacinski completed his undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1999. Dr. Lopacinski constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic and physical rehabilitation. He is always strengthening his understanding of diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders by reading and attending post-graduate seminars. Dr. Lopacinski’s love of chiropractic and genuine ability to work with other medical practitioners and allied healthcare providers are two qualities that set him apart. He believes that working together as a medical team is in the best interests of the patient – and the future of healthcare. When he is not working, Dr. Lopacinski enjoys exercising, cooking, and hanging out with his family.
Michele (Chele) Lopacinski graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. Graduate studies were completed at Slippery Rock University, where she held a graduate assistant position in neuroscience. Upon completion of her studies and clinical rotations, Chele received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006. Chele has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, early intervention, and pediatric therapy. She has a deep interest in core stability and functional strengthening, spending much of her post graduate education learning more in this area. It is a great benefit for patients to have access to both a chiropractor and physical therapist in one setting, where we work together to restore alignment, strength, and mobility as we reduce pain. Chele enjoys getting to know her patients and how to best adapt a home exercise program that is beneficial, yet attainable upon completion of therapy. Providing patient education is one of her passions in the clinic. When not working with Joint Ventures, she also works providing PT services in the school system. Additionally, she enjoys exercising, organizing, reading, and spending time with her family playing board games and doing just about anything together!
