What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with new customers is the client calls me for notary service and if the clients' office or home is not too far from my home office I will travel to them, however, if the client lives nearby to my home office they can come into the office.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My clients should always remember to bring a valid form of ID with them to any notarization appointment; e.g. valid PA state ID, valid PA drivers license, valid school ID, passport, etc. Also, the client should be aware that a notary is forbidden to answer any legal questions pertaining to the document they are requesting to be notarized.
Notaries giving advice or answering questions by the client pertaining to their document would be in violation of state law as to provide legal advice without a law license and the notary could lose his notary commission.

My standard pricing is $5 per notarized page.
How did you get started in this business?
As a Pennsylvania notary who is commissioned by the state for a term of four years, I am currently on my fourth commission which means I would serve as a notary for 20 years when my commission expires June 2, 2024.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Customers I have worked with in the past have mainly been clients who need Power of Attorney/legal documents signed and notarized in dealing with an elderly loved one, real estate, pension early withdrawal, and international travel. Other clients seek me out to notarize car title for sale, purchase, or donation.
