About this pro

I customize my massage to each person 's needs.  I listen and communicate throughout the massage as needed. If the massage is for relaxation purposes, I respect the client's decision to have a conversation or be silent.  My focus is on the client's needs and goals, and how I can help.

What I enjoy most is seeing the progress of each client,  even from the time before the get on the table to after their massage, there will be a noticeable difference! I encourage each client to return at the most ideal time to achieve the results they want.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will communicate with the client,  ideally by a phone conversation. I will ask the client to describe their goals and will screen for any contraindications to massage.  This is important, as there are times and conditions where it isn't helpful for a client to receive massage,  or might even be harmful to the client!  I will then tell the client what to expect during the massage,  an expected treatment plan, and confirm with the client that they want to work with me. Then we schedule and I arrive at the client's designated space at the scheduled time. I will come in, set up, and have the client fill out an intake form. I will have a conversation with the client about their expectations and goals,  as well as any concerns. Then I will explain my procedure to the client. I will wash my hands,  then give the client privacy to undress and get on the table. Once on the table, covered, I will adjust anything neccessary for client comfort. As I massage the client,  I will check in with them about the pressure.  I follow the client's lead as to how much talking I do. For some clients this means talking only when neccesary. Conversation will be focused entirely on client,  and completely client -led. After the massage,  I leave the room, and have the client come out of the room, fully clothed, and we talk about my findings. I give suggestions for a treatment plan, and we have an open discussion about how the client can best achieve their goals.  I then reschedule the client, as needed, and collect payment.  I pack up and leave, looking forward to helping the client achieve their wellness goals!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from the Academy of Massage and Bodyworks in Pottstown, PA. I received additional training in Oncology massage and Cross Fiber Techniques.  Cross Fiber is an excellent technique for resolving issues with tight muscles and tight fascia.
