I believe the therapeutic relationship is the key to unlocking the door, no matter what issues lie behind that door. Without a strong foundation of trust, respect, and communication--the 3 pillars upon which any relationship is built--progress cannot be made. This is where we begin. My clients view me as empathic, empowering, and trustworthy--ideals I foster through open communication. I have a unique ability to meet people where they are so that I am able to guide them on their journey toward wellness. My goal is to help you move through your problems toward effective solutions.

As an 8-year breast cancer survivor, I am uniquely skilled with not only the clinical expertise of an experienced psychotherapist, but also with the personal insight of one who has walked this arduous path. Fears of recurrence, family issues, BRCA and other genetic mutations that increase cancer risk, sexuality issues, early menopause, young survivorship, survivor's guilt...

I am an out-of-the-box thinker. Not every modality works for every individual and it is my goal, my responsibility, to help you find the tools that will work for you. I have 15+ years of experience working with children (ages 3+), teens/"tweens," families, and co-parenting. In total I have 21 years of experience in the field, and yet I strive to learn the most up to date information from the field in order to stay current and relevant in an ever-changing world.
