Ive had the most amazing and unexpected journey just as I was heading into my retirement years. For the prior few years I actually wished for a romantic and full blown sexual relationship before I died because it had been decades since having one due to being in a marriage where all that had been lost. It came knocking on my door when I least expected it. I had been working with Doneen on some matters of the heart and before I knew it I found myself opening up to her with the most intimate of details and thoughts. It just happened so naturally and effortlessly because she has this magic that makes you feel so safe and heard and validated. I would never have pictured myself going to a therapist and talking about what I have shared with her. She has such a wealth of knowledge and wisdom and gives amazing feedback. This is very confidence building. I can honestly say that I am the happiest and most free I have ever been! Doneen has a rare gift for creating the space where people actually want to explore the most private and personal aspects of their lives.

Doneen was my life saver when I was going through a major life crisis. I divorced after a 19 year marriage. I was grieving and trying to figure out my new life and new way to relate to my children. At the same time, I switched countries where I was living and careers. All this and dating! Doneen helped me deeply feel all of my emotions using yoga nindra techniques. I was able to cry and show my vulnerability which I could not do in front of my kids who were 15 and 17 at the time. I dont think I would have made it without her. I got strong, found my path and was able to form a healthy relationship, 7 years later with the love of my life! Thank you Doneen!

Doneen brings a unique set of experience and training to her practice, from her intimate understanding of the challenges of corporate life, balancing family with work, the intricacies of raising children while preserving a marriage, and the effort required to transition to more meaningful work and cultivating one’s sense of self, meeting one’s own needs through it all.

Doneen has helped me with my own transitions. She has helped me find the tools and the strength I need, helping me to find my own clarity and truth, and never by telling me what I should do. She doesn’t judge; she presents options, encouraging my inner problem solving self.

Doneen has built important relationships with other professionals as well, providing her clients with contacts of other alternative care providers. She is well read, and suggests helpful books and articles for her clients to read, providing meaningful ‘homework.’

In its essence, her practice is about self-empowerment, helping clients to achieve the change they seek. Finding your path with a gentle and neutral guide is so much more lasting that being told what you should do! She is always non-judgmental, never cookie-cutter. She is gracious and supportive, and brings much creativity into her coaching.

Several years ago when I was studying in one of the word’s great coaching school, I met Doneen on the same course. I asked her to be my coach for our practicals.

Doneen was incredibly helpful and so after we had finished the 2 year program and were setting up our coaching businesses, I asked her to remain as my personal and business coach. She agreed and helped me set up my business and to make it the coaching powerhouse it has become.

She is thoughtful and listens well and deeply, to all of the issues that came up for me during the coaching experience and then when I went through these early stages of my setup, she helped me through the doubts and fears that so often arises when you take a chance on yourself.

I highly recommend Doneen to you, for not only her well-rounded business knowledge, but for the important insights she can help bring into your life whether its around mid-life issues, deeply personal areas or grief.

What can I say…..it’s hard to put into words the support and the love Doneen provided me during a very stressful time in my life. She helped me transition into a wonderful and amazing life! I worked with Doneen through the many ups and downs of pre and post divorce. The combination of coaching and yoga therapy gave me a place of balance, support and compassion. We met 2 times a month for 6 years. The Yoga practice was essential to keeping my body flexible open and flowing. The coaching added that extra work I needed to address the whole body, mind and soul.

Doneen has an amazing ability to be tender with a little tough love when needed. She incorporates a lot of humor and laughter that would just lift my soul higher.

The work she did with me during and beyond provided a place of centered grounding. We dove in to a deep sense of self, found the seeds to water and out came the flower in full bloom.

I feel so fortunate to have spent this time working with Doneen as she guided and supported me through to the other side of a very challenging chapter in my life. I found my bliss! I am blessed to have Doneen in my life.

This is slightly challenging to write but I had an amazing experience with Doneen as a coach a year or so back. I would like to support her growth in her coaching now she has moved up north.

When my wife passed away in her early Sixties, I was bereft. After a couple of years I found some women were interested in beginning a relationship with me.

It was tough getting back up in the saddle! I had very personal issues only my wife and I had shared and after panicking for a while it was recommended through a friend to contact Doneen.

Immediately I felt comfortable. She did not judge me, she listened to all my issues over the first 6 weeks and I found the courage to begin dating again.

It’s hard talking about sex and those sorts of things with someone you know and I found through her compassion and caring - and sometimes tough - coaching, I was able to meet a great gal who gets me

and accepts me with all my foibles.
