I moved several years ago and fortgot to change my information. I was gratefully surprised that my clients found me. They are all friends and return every year. They tell me that they trust me and don't want to go anywhere else. I have several clients that had questions about previous returns, so looking back I have found several errors in prior years and have helped them correct them. I also help with back taxes or currently owed taxes or unfiled returns.
What I enjoy the most about my work is the clients I have. They are more like close friends.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a short, free conversation to find out more information that might be needed to accurately prepare whatever service is needed
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My college major was accounting, taking all accounting and taxes possible. At present, after passing the testing, have the IRS, Enrolled Agent designation.
I have been preparing taxes for individuals, businesses, and non-profits for fifty years. I enjoy the interaction with clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Tax returns start at $195. I help solve issues with the IRS so you don't have to deal with them. The price for problem solving is based on the time it takes to get all the information needed, to be able to complete the work. That can be established in the first 30 minute free conversation. I also do payroll and monthly bookkeeping for small businesses.
How did you get started in this business?
I started doing taxes when I was 19. My boss at my day job asked me if I would like to learn about taxes. I was hooked. I worked for one of the large tax services, then another one where I managed a location and also taught an advance class. Then in 1995 I decided to open my own office. I have had several locations over the years, but now am working out of my home office, which I am enjoying greatly.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with small business owners, individuals with tax problems and unfiled returns, individuals with small w-2s and ones with a variety of incomes. I have also worked with non-profits.
