I've been seeing clients and helping them transform their lives since 2005. Am licensed with the state of Ohio as a clinical counselor, and am also a certified coach and executive director with the John Maxwell Team - which enables me to work with people all around the world, helping them develop themselves emotionally, spiritually and relationally. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we have talked or e-mailed back n forth to establish that we are a good fit for each other, we'll schedule an initial session that works for both of us. I'll send you a link to open your online, secure client portal where you can complete paperwork online, read and sign consent forms, schedule future sessions and pay online in whatever format works best for you (i.e. credit card, bank draft, paypal, venmo...).
Your initial paperwork will include some questions about symptoms / challenges you'd like to work on, some history and some desired goals. Then at our first session, we'll dig into all of that more to know how best I can help you specifically. I have lots of different tools and methods so I want to get to know YOU to determine which will be most beneficial.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree from Ashland Theological Seminar in clinical and pastoral counseling. And am licensed by the state of Ohio as an independent clinical counselor. I've had lots of additional training in trauma work (EMDR), clinical hypnosis, mindfulness training and formational prayer (helping people grow spiritually and heal underlying wounds keeping them in pain).
In addition, I've had several years of training in how to coach people to set and reach their goals, how to rise above challenges and achieve/fulfill their potential and be the leader (in their family, church, workplace, life) that they were created to be!
