I have been in the mental health field for over 35+ years. I am a Licensed Psychologist. I work with most psychological conditions including relationship and marriage and family issues, parenting, and also treat depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. However, I have a passion for treating those with Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, Phobias, OCD, and PTSD. I emphasize a natural and alternative approach toward mental health and many people have come to me because they are looking for an alternative to using medication to treat them. If you are using medication to treat a mental health condition and it is helping you continue to do what is helpful. Others continue to use medication combined with counseling and therapy. Do whatever works best for you. It should be about your personal choices. I also offer Christian Counseling to those specifically seeking interventions that are consistent with their Christian beliefs. However, I take a non-judgmental approach and whatever your individual beliefs I will honor and respect your beliefs.
I have an affinity working with people dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, phobias, OCD, and PTSD. In my earlier years I suffered from OCD and panic attacks. I realize how debilitating anxiety can be. Because of my own experiences of having had OCD and panic attacks I have a passion for treating people struggling with all forms of anxiety.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gather information first of why you scheduled an appointment and what is it that you hope to accomplish from appointment(s). We then discuss a variety of approaches that can be used to help you obtain your goals and develop a plan of action together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a mental health professional for over 35 years. I am a licensed psychologist and have been in my own private practice since 1997.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$100 per 60 minute session (either in person or online video teleconferencing) - I strive to keep payments affordable. In addition to using health insurrance (I am a in network provider for Cigna, Optum, United Behavioral Health, Medicare, and Tricare) I also offer through Advance Care (a program similar to Care Credit) no interest or low interest financing for services provided. I also accept cash and credit cards.
How did you get started in this business?
At the age of 16 years old up through my early 20's I suffered from panic attacks and prior to that I suffered from OCD. After having gone through therapy myself I decided to become a mental health care provider and later became a licensed psychologist. I learned through my own personal experiences of therapy and later academic and professional experiences what was working and what was not working in treating people.
