In Business since 2010, G/L Accounting Solutions is your one-stop place for all Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Tax Preparation, Individual and Business Banking needs- at a tiny fraction of what you would be paying at a large accounting firm or with a full time Tax Accountant. Over 95% of our customers have referred us to family and friends. Our team is headed by Mason T. Joshua. Mason holds a Master of Science Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and has over 10 years tax filing experience. Mason has represented several clients at IRS and Workman’s Comp audit hearings.

How did you get started in this business?
10 years ago filing taxes for friends and coworkers. Then, I went back to school to learn accounting and taxation.

Customers from a variety of backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A customer who lost her entire tax refund due to the non-payment of child support by her spouse was surprised to find out I got the IRS to refund back to her, the portion of her earnings in the joint return they filed. A week later, she brought 5 of her friends to our office to file their taxes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a tax preparer who understands how tax laws apply in his or her case.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is this person tax-literate? Is he or she up to date with recent developments in the tax laws?
