We look forward to serving you!
I enjoy payroll - I like making sure everyone is paid accurately and that there would be little to no surprise for the employees at their tax time. I monitor how tax forms are completed at hire closely to make sure that are making good choices.
I know that happy employees make for better business. I make it my goal to ensure their paycheck will be spot on correct.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet a new client to discuss their specific needs. I don't believe in selling more than a client needs just to "fill my coffers." After establishing needs, we discuss timetables and expectations. It's always good to know what we both need from each other so there are fewer surprises down the road.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my core accounting education from Columbus based Franklin University followed by a Masters in Accounting from Colorado State University online. Practical on the job training of 20+ years with Genuine Parts Company as well as a local accounting company prior to hanging my own shingle.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
While I have a general standard pricelist, I prefer to review this individually with a client.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked for my former boss for many years and when she decided it was time to close her doors, I opened mine. I was fortunate enough to take on several of her former clients as my own.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have handled full bookkeeping for chiropractors, retail auto parts, and an independent moving company to name a few. Payroll clients are everything from "soup to nuts." They might have a few employees or up to 50+.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for attention to detail, then I can help you. I'm not afraid to ask a question about particular items but also know the benefit of NOT peppering the client with mundane questions. Finding the balance - that's the key.
I also believe that I'm here if you need me but I won't be one to call or contact "just because".
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I really want a large impersonal company handling something SO personal as payroll? Or would I rather deal with a specific local business who answers my calls personally?
