What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process would include meeting with client and asquiring all tax documents and review thier tax situation. Preparing their return together, notifying the tax payer the results of their tax preparation along with thier preparation fee. Accepting their payment, setting up process for tax payer authorization for E-file, and giving the tax payer a electrontic or hard copy of their return.
