About
For the past 8 years I have been helping patients regain balance through acupuncture, herbal medicine, essential oils, and yoga. My acupuncture practice focuses primarily on a Japanese approach of Sensei Kiiko Matsumoto with trigger point acupuncture added when needed. This combination enables me to have great success in treating orthopedic issues. Women’s health, sleep, digestive issues, and internal medicine are other area’s of expertise and I am very passionate about.
There is nothing more rewarding then helping a patient feel more whole in their lives. I consider my work to involve a lot of problem solving which keeps me having to try knew approaches and determine the best way to treat each person for their specific needs. No two issues are the same and each day is new and exciting. When a person comes in to their follow-up treatment and remarks on their improvement and I see their encouragement and stress begin to melt away I am filled with light. It’s a truly beautiful thing to be able to help people in this profound way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to the first visit the patient will fill out an extensive medical history. When we meet we begin by reviewing the patients history and I work towards teasing out relevant info that helps to paint the picture of the origination of the issue at hand. We follow with an acupuncture treatment and I send the patient home with some recommendations for keeping the treatment moving.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am board certified, nationally accredited and NY State Licensed in acupuncture. I have my graduate degree in Chinese Medicine and extensive post grad studies and course work in Essential Oils.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I am out-of-network for health insurance and therefor check the patients benefits prior to determining the fee as it varies in relationship to their benefits.
